Consumer accounts
The consumption mode works like the prepaid mobile phone system. You buy credits, 1 credit = 1 email sent to a recipient. Once the funds have been used, if you want to send emails you must buy credits.
Subscription accounts
You pay for one year. The subscription includes a certain number of credits (1 credit = 1 email sent to one recipient) per month. Unused credits are not carried over the next month.

It is possible to import up to 25 custom fields in addition to the email address. These fields can be inserted into the subject of the email and of course in the body of the email.
You just need to write $fieldX$ where X represents the number of the field in question. For example “field2” can contain the “forename”. And if you want, when you send each message, it will be personalized with the name of the receiver.

Yes, you can import a PDF file on our servers and create a link to the PDF in your newsletter. The recipients of the email can then click on this link (text or image) and see the contents of your PDF. For reasons of file size, the PDF is not added in the message.
To simplify, there are three types of filters, the filter on the mailing address (IP address of the SMTP server) and we guarantee that at this level, our IP are good quality ones and continuously monitored. The second is the domain name, after your first sending, you will see in the badmails if your domain is banned or not. In this case, you can contact us and we will definitely propose you to use a different domain name. The third concerns the content of your newsletter. Indeed, it is advisable not to use SPAM-words, such as "free ", "sales", %, to avoid putting too many words in bold or different fonts for example.
Questions related to the management of address books:
Yes you can import your addresses in csv. format. This format is a universal data format that can be used in many software applications, on Mac OS (Excel™, Entourage etc. ..), Windows (Excel™, Access™, Outlook™, etc. SQL Server™. .) Linux (Open Office, Star Office etc. ..). It is also possible to import your addresses via copy-paste from Excel, Word or another database, but for large volumes we recommend the use of CSV files. If you use a free email account for your emailing campaigns, these email accounts can be disabled by the supplier if you have lots of invalid emails (IASP - Badmail) in your recipient addresses. It is obvious that if your account is disabled, you can not manage the returning emails; such as orders for example.
This is why Mailpro™ recommends using an email account from a domain that belongs to you, thus solving this problem.
It seems worth adding that the personalization of an email will also clearly identify the sender. This is one of the parameters that need to be taken into account to increase the rates of opening the newsletters of your campaigns.
Yes, we provide an example code to create a subscribe/unsubscribe form directly related to the addresses from your Mailpro™ account. This code is available in Mailpro™, in “configuration”, webmaster area.
Duplicates are handled automatically during import and we also check that the email is not in one of your unsubscription books or if the email is not in your “badmails”. This explains the difference may exist between that might appear between the number of addresses imported and the number of addresses actually added to the book. See the report
Here's how: in Open Office, when you save the file, choose the .csv format. At the time of registration (first time) a dialog box appears asking you about the options of the .csv file. You must then choose “;” (semicolons) as field separator. As text separator, put nothing (leave blank or delete the text if something is entered).
Duplicates are only treated in the same address book. So two identical addresses can be found in two different books. And on the contrary in the same book duplicates are managed and the same address can not appear 2 times.
The badmails are automatically deleted from the address book and added to the badmails tab. The delay for removal can vary from a few minutes to 5 hours maximum after your sending.
You can safely upgrade your subscription during the year. A pro rata calculation of unused months will be made directly into your account and you can pay the subscription directly online. Without going to a higher subscription, you also can purchase additional credits that are valid until the end of the current month. Our solutions are meant to evolve.
