Many Indian SMEs still manage customers across WhatsApp chats, Excel sheets, visiting cards and the memory of their sales staff. It works until someone leaves, a list is sent to the wrong group, or a customer asks you to delete their data and nobody knows where it all is. A simple CRM brings that information together, and with Mailpro it connects directly to your email and SMS campaigns.
What Mailpro’s contact tools give you
- A single contact database for customers, prospects and subscribers, with contact management and duplicate handling.
- Custom fields for what matters in your business: city, preferred language, GSTIN for B2B customers, course enrolled, policy renewal date.
- Tags and segments to group contacts by behaviour, region or product interest.
- Consent records showing when and how each person subscribed, which you will need under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023.
- Direct campaigns: select a segment and send an email, SMS or automated sequence without exporting anything.
How Indian businesses use it
Manufacturers and distributors
Keep dealer and distributor contacts by state, send price-list updates and scheme announcements to the right network, and track who opened them.
Real estate developers and brokers
Capture enquiries from property portals and site visits, tag them by project and budget, and send updates on launches or possession dates.
Education and coaching
Track enquiries through admission season, from first contact to enrolment, and keep parents informed afterwards.
Professional services
Chartered accountants, law firms and consultants can segment clients by service and send compliance reminders ahead of key filing dates.
Connecting your other tools
If your sales team already uses a larger CRM, you do not need to replace it. Mailpro offers a Salesforce integration, and Zapier connects Mailpro to many other applications, so new leads can flow into your email lists automatically.
Data protection built in
The DPDP Act gives individuals the right to access, correct and erase their personal data and to withdraw consent. Its main obligations apply from 13 May 2027. A central contact database makes these requests manageable: you can find, update or delete a person in one place. Mailpro hosts contact data in Switzerland on private infrastructure, outside US jurisdiction, with TLS 1.3 encryption, and never sells or rents it. Getting your existing data in
Most businesses start by importing what they already have: an Excel export of customers, a list from a trade show, contacts from an older email tool. Before importing, remove duplicates, format mobile numbers with the +91 country code, and add a column recording where and when each person gave consent. Contacts with no record of consent should receive a permission request rather than marketing. After the import, set up forms so new contacts arrive with their consent recorded automatically.
Simple pricing
Mailpro is priced by sends, not by the number of contacts stored, so what you pay follows how much you send, not how many customers you keep on file. Start with 500 free credits.
