Feedback drives improvement, and in a competitive tourism and services market like Malta’s, it can also drive reviews and repeat business. Mailpro’s survey tool lets you ask the right people the right questions, share surveys by email, SMS or link, and analyse answers in real time.
Surveys that make sense in Malta
Guest satisfaction
Send a short survey the day after checkout, asking about the room, service and location. Tourism is one of Malta’s largest industries, and guests who feel heard are more likely to return. Templates are ready on the tourism surveys page.
Client feedback for professional services
Corporate service providers, accountants and law firms can run an annual client survey, measuring satisfaction with a Net Promoter Score question.
Member and community surveys
Band clubs, sports clubs and festa committees can survey members about events, fees and volunteering.
Staff and HR
Employers facing seasonal hiring can use a job satisfaction survey to understand retention.
Market research
Before launching a product, test demand with a market research survey sent to your subscribers.
Built for two languages
Run your survey in English, Maltese or both. Separate language versions often get higher completion rates than mixed-language questions. Mailpro’s survey translator can generate a first draft for a fluent speaker to check.
Privacy considerations
Surveys collect personal data whenever responses can be linked to a person. Under GDPR, tell respondents what you collect and why, and offer anonymous responses where you don’t need identities. If you use the survey invitation to promote something, Malta’s S.L. 586.01 consent rules apply to that email or SMS. Responses are stored on Mailpro’s private Swiss infrastructure, and Switzerland’s EU adequacy decision means no extra transfer mechanism is needed.
Writing questions that get honest answers
- Ask one thing per question; “How was the room and breakfast?” is two questions.
- Avoid leading wording such as “How much did you enjoy…”.
- Use the same rating scale throughout.
- End with one open question for anything you did not think to ask.
When to send
For guest surveys, send within a day of checkout. For client surveys, avoid busy periods such as financial year-end. For community surveys, avoid the peak of festa season when committee members and volunteers are fully occupied. Schedule sends for daytime in CET/CEST, or in the respondent’s own time zone for international guests.
