American consumers are asked for feedback constantly, after every purchase, delivery and support call. That makes a well-designed survey more important, not less: yours has to be short, relevant and clearly worth answering. Mailpro’s survey builder helps US businesses and organizations create surveys that people complete, and turn the answers into decisions.
Surveys US organizations run most
Customer satisfaction
Measure how customers feel after a purchase, a service visit or a support interaction, and spot problems before they reach online reviews. Start from a customer satisfaction survey template.
Market research
Test a new product idea, pricing or name with your own customers before a launch. Segment responses by state or region to see whether demand differs across the country.
Employee engagement
Anonymous pulse surveys help HR teams track morale and spot issues, especially with remote and hybrid staff spread across time zones.
Events and education
Collect feedback after a conference, webinar or course while the experience is fresh. Schools and colleges use surveys for parent and student feedback at the end of each semester.
Associations and nonprofits
Ask members which benefits they value before renewal season, or ask donors how they prefer to be contacted.
Features that raise response rates
- Create quickly with the online survey builder and a range of question types.
- Keep it relevant with branching logic, so people only see questions that apply to them.
- Reach people where they are: share surveys by email, by link or embedded on your website.
- Target the right respondents using segmentation of your contact lists.
- Watch results live in survey statistics, then export for deeper analysis.
Choosing question types
Use rating scales for satisfaction, multiple choice for preferences and one or two open questions for the “why”. A widely used approach is to ask how likely someone is to recommend you on a 0–10 scale, followed by an open question about the reason; tracking that score over time gives you a simple loyalty indicator. Keep open questions optional, since they take the most effort to answer on a phone.
Reaching a diverse country
If a meaningful part of your audience prefers Spanish, offer a Spanish version of the survey rather than relying on English only; response rates and answer quality usually improve. Timing matters too: send survey invitations mid-morning in each respondent’s time zone, and avoid holiday weeks such as Thanksgiving and the period between Christmas and New Year.
Privacy and trust
Tell respondents why you are asking, how long the survey takes and how the answers will be used. If you collect identifiable information, state privacy laws such as California’s CCPA/CPRA apply. For employee surveys, make it clear whether responses are anonymous. Mailpro stores responses in Switzerland on private infrastructure, outside US jurisdiction, and never sells or rents them.
