Many Grenadian websites send email straight from their web host’s server: contact form notifications, order confirmations, password resets. Those messages often end up in spam, or never arrive, because shared hosting servers are not built for email delivery. Routing them through Mailpro’s SMTP server fixes that with a simple settings change.
What an SMTP relay does
Your application hands each email to Mailpro’s SMTP server, which authenticates it, sends it through well-managed infrastructure and records what happens next. You keep your existing software; only the sending route changes. For the basics, see what SMTP is.
Who it helps in Grenada
- Hotels and villas whose booking or property management system sends confirmations.
- E-commerce sites on WordPress, WooCommerce or other platforms selling locally and overseas.
- Offices and professional firms sending invoices and statements from accounting software.
- Schools and training providers sending portal notifications.
- Web agencies managing sites for several clients.
Setting it up
- Create your Mailpro account and SMTP credentials.
- Enter the server, port, username and password in your software’s email settings.
- Authenticate your domain with SPF, DKIM and DMARC.
- Send a test and check it in the Mailpro dashboard.

Why authentication matters
Mailbox providers such as Gmail and Yahoo expect bulk senders to authenticate their domain. Authentication also proves your emails really come from you. That is relevant in Grenada, where the Electronic Crimes Act, 2013 makes sending email with a counterfeit or falsified origin an offence. Authenticated sending keeps your legitimate messages clearly separate from spoofed ones.
Track every message
Mailpro logs each email sent through SMTP: delivered, bounced, opened or clicked. See SMTP statistics for how to use these reports, for example to prove an invoice reached a client.
Timing and volume
Most transactional email is sent immediately. For batch sends such as monthly statements, you can use scheduled sending and time them for business hours in Atlantic Standard Time.
Common signs you need an SMTP relay
- Customers say they never received order or booking confirmations.
- Contact-form messages from your website arrive in your own spam folder.
- Your hosting provider limits how many emails your site can send per hour.
- You have no way to prove that an invoice or notice was delivered.
If any of these sound familiar, switching your website or software to an authenticated relay is usually the quickest fix.
Swiss hosting, send-based pricing
Emails pass through Mailpro’s infrastructure in Switzerland, outside US jurisdiction, protected by TLS 1.3. Data is never sold or rented. Pricing is based on the number of emails you send, and every account starts with 500 free credits. Compare options on our pricing page, or read more about Mailpro’s SMTP service.
