SenderName lets your SMS campaigns display your brand or company name (or a phone number) instead of the default mailpro.com sender. It is an optional, paid add-on that requires a one-time validation by carrier networks before it can be used.

Important: SenderName works only in supported countries and on compatible carriers. Some operators may override the SenderName at delivery time — Mailpro prioritizes delivery, even if it means using a different sender ID.

SenderName format requirements

  • Maximum 10 characters
  • Alphanumeric only — no spaces, special characters, or apostrophes
  • Can be your company name or a phone number
  • Must be validated before it can send

Documents required for validation

Send the following to [email protected]:

  • A copy of your company’s registration with the Companies Registry in your country
  • An identity document of the signer, owner, or administrator of the company

If your application is denied, you can adjust and resubmit at no additional cost. Once accepted, the SenderName remains active as long as your account is active — there is no annual fee.

Step-by-step setup

  1. Subscribe to the SenderName option from your Mailpro account.
  2. Choose a SenderName that meets the format rules above.
  3. Email the registration and identity documents to [email protected].
  4. Wait for validation. We notify you by email once the SenderName is approved.
  5. Send your SMS campaigns — the SenderName is applied automatically when the carrier supports it.

What you cannot guarantee

Even after approval, certain mobile network operators may replace your SenderName with a generic numeric sender ID. This is outside Mailpro’s control and depends on local rules. The fee for SenderName setup is non-refundable, regardless of carrier behavior. Always check our SMS regulations for your destination markets.
