Use this template

This workplace safety quiz checks what employees remember after a safety training session: fire, evacuation, first response, manual handling, signage and reporting. Eight questions take about five minutes, and the correct answers are shown at the end.

What does this workplace safety quiz cover?

The questions reflect everyday situations at work: what to do first when discovering a fire, which extinguisher suits an electrical fire, how to evacuate, how to react when a colleague falls, how to lift a heavy box, why exits must stay clear, who to tell about a near miss and what a prohibition sign looks like. Participants enter their name and department, so you can see which teams need a refresher. The pass mark is set at 75%.

Who is it for?

  • Safety officers following up on induction or annual training
  • HR teams onboarding new employees
  • Warehouse, workshop and site managers
  • Training providers who want a quick safety training quiz at the end of a session

How to adapt it in Mailpro

Edit the questions and answers to match your own procedures, such as your assembly point or internal emergency number, and add your logo and colours. The quiz is scored automatically: you can change the pass mark, add a timer, limit the number of attempts and show results by score bands. Share it by link, QR code in the break room or in an internal Mailpro newsletter; results arrive in Mailpro.

Tips

  • Base each question on a rule actually taught in your training, not on general trivia.
  • Send the safety quiz again a few weeks later to check what people retain.
  • Look at the questions most people get wrong and revisit them in the next session.
  • Remember that a quiz checks knowledge but does not replace mandatory safety training.
