You are organising an event or a project and looking for a sponsor? Tell us about it: we support local initiatives every year.

Use this template

This sponsorship request form gives organisations a clear way to ask for your support for an event or a project. Clubs, schools and non-profits describe their initiative, audience and needs, and you assess every application on the same basis.

What is a sponsorship request form for?

Companies that support local initiatives receive many requests in very different formats. With this form, each applicant gives the name and type of organisation, a contact person, the name, date and place of the event, and the expected audience. They describe their project, specify the support they are looking for (financial support, products or prizes, volunteers, communication), the amount requested and the visibility they offer in return. A presentation file can be attached. Your communication or CSR team gets complete, comparable applications.

Who is it for?

  • Companies with a local sponsorship or CSR budget
  • Banks, retailers and brands supporting sport and culture
  • Foundations funding community projects
  • Event organisers looking for an event sponsorship request format to share with partners

How to adapt it in Mailpro

  • Change the questions and texts: add your eligibility criteria, the regions you support or the budget ceiling.
  • Keep the file attachment for presentation files, budgets or posters.
  • Add your logo and colours, and share the link on your website, by QR code or in a Mailpro newsletter.
  • All requests arrive in Mailpro; you can tag contacts by type of organisation to reply by category.

Tips

  • Publish clear deadlines, for example one application window per quarter.
  • State which types of projects you do not support, to reduce unsuitable requests.
  • Compare the visibility offered with the amount requested before deciding.
  • Answer every applicant, even when the answer is no: it protects your reputation.

Frequently asked questions

How do I write a good sponsorship request?

Describe the event precisely, give realistic audience figures, state exactly what you need and explain what the sponsor will gain in visibility.

Is a sponsorship application form better than an email?

For the sponsor, yes: every request contains the same information, which makes selection fairer and faster.

Can I use this sponsorship form for in-kind support only?

Yes. Remove the amount question and keep products, prizes, volunteers or communication as the types of support.
