Mailpro is built for legitimate, permission-based email and SMS marketing. To protect deliverability for every customer, certain business sectors are not allowed to use the service — not as a value judgment, but because their messages tend to generate high spam complaint rates that damage the shared platform’s reputation.

Why this matters: spam complaints from these sectors hurt the shared sending infrastructure, slowing inbox placement for every other Mailpro user.

Industries that cannot use Mailpro

  • Stock trading and online speculation
  • Online betting sites
  • Online casinos
  • Pornography and sexually explicit content
  • Escort services
  • Sale of pharmaceutical products
  • Clairvoyance
  • Esoteric sciences and astrology
  • Earnings offers and work-from-home incentive schemes

Why these restrictions exist

These sectors are commonly associated with content recipients perceive as spam, even when the sender follows best practices. They tend to draw complaints at much higher rates than average, which triggers blacklists and hurts deliverability for the entire platform. Excluding them keeps inbox placement strong for everyone else.

Acceptable use still applies to allowed industries

Even if your business is in an allowed sector, you must follow our 10 email marketing rules: explicit opt-in consent, no purchased or rented lists, no third-party data sources, and content that respects decency and the law. Avoid forbidden words that trigger spam filters, and never send sensitive personal data — health records, bank details, or ID numbers.

What happens if you sign up from a forbidden industry

Accounts identified as belonging to a restricted industry are subject to suspension or termination without notice, in line with our acceptable use policy. Fees are non-refundable in this case. If you are unsure whether your activity qualifies, contact support before subscribing.

Not sure if your industry qualifies?

Most legitimate B2B and B2C senders are welcome on Mailpro. Review our email marketing rules and confirm that you can stay out of the spam folder with your audience before subscribing.
