Put your candidates in a contact list and restrict the exam to that list. Candidates enter their email address, already filled in from their invitation, and, if you wish, a personal code stored in their contact record.

The access settings

  • Contact list: email address, plus an optional personal code.
  • Shared password: for simpler use.
  • Login attempts: after five incorrect attempts (adjustable), access is blocked.
  • Attempts per candidate: once the limit is reached, the exam is no longer available to them; a duplicate submission is rejected.

What about a quiz open to everyone?

There, attempts are counted per browser. For a strict limit per person, restrict the quiz to a contact list.

If the candidate closes their browser

They resume their attempt by coming back to the link, even from another device. The clock, however, has kept running: the timer is kept by the server.

Invite your candidates with an email campaign containing the exam link: their address is already filled in.

In detail: online exam.
