Numbers rather than impressions

“Are you satisfied?” calls for a yes or a no. A rating from 1 to 5 tells you how much, and can be compared from one time to the next. In the survey builder, four question types measure an opinion in one tap, on a phone too, and their results are shown as charts with the average.

Ratings

Stars, hearts, circles or thumbs

Choose 3 to 10 icons, their shape and their colors. For a scale, choose the start and the end, add a label at each end and show it as buttons or a slider.

NPS

Recommendation in one question

The NPS block asks the 0 to 10 question with its labels. Results show the distribution of ratings and the average, and the export gives you every rating to calculate the score.

QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions

What is NPS?
The Net Promoter Score measures recommendation: “On a scale of 0 to 10, how likely are you to recommend us?”. Ratings of 9 and 10 are promoters, 7 and 8 passives, 0 to 6 detractors. The score is the percentage of promoters minus the percentage of detractors.
Does Mailpro calculate the NPS score?
Mailpro shows the distribution of ratings and the average. To get the NPS score, add up the percentages of 9 and 10, then subtract those of 0 to 6; the Excel export gives you every rating to do it with one formula.
A 1 to 5 or 1 to 10 scale?
1 to 5 for a quick answer that is easy to read; 1 to 10 for finer differences. Keep the same scale from one survey to the next to compare results over time.
Do the results have a chart?
Yes for scales, NPS and ratings: distribution of answers and average. Matrix answers are read in the answer list and in the Excel export.
Can I ask why after a low rating?
Yes, with conditional logic: the question “What disappointed you?” appears only after a low rating.
