A happy customer comes back, an unhappy one goes quiet

Most unhappy customers don’t complain: they leave. A satisfaction survey gives them a voice at the right time, and lets you fix things before you lose them. With Mailpro surveys, you send it to your customers from the same tool as your newsletters, and the answers join their record.

Questions

Understand a low rating

Star ratings, scales, 0 to 10 recommendation and matrices to rate several items. After a low rating, a condition asks what went wrong, then offers a follow-up.

Customers to call back, right away

A customer who asks to be contacted gets a tag, and the notification alerts your team with every answer. A segment with that tag gives you the call-back list, and the charts follow the trend of the ratings.

QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions

What questions should a customer satisfaction survey ask?
An overall rating, one or two questions on key points (product, delivery, welcome), the 0 to 10 recommendation and an open question. Five to eight questions are enough: customers answer in under two minutes.
When should I send the survey?
Right after the experience, while it is fresh: a few days after delivery for a purchase, the same day for a service. To measure loyalty, a 0 to 10 recommendation question sent at regular intervals lets you follow the trend.
How do I follow up with unhappy customers?
Add the question “Would you like us to contact you?” with a tag on the “Yes” answer, and turn on the notification to your team, sent with every answer. A segment with that tag gives you the list of customers to call back.
Can answers be anonymous?
You can make the survey non-identifying: don’t ask for a name or email and don’t link it to your contacts. You will then no longer be able to call back a specific customer.
How do I follow the results?
Every question has its chart, with the distribution and the average rating. The Excel export includes all answers, for example to calculate your NPS score.
