To send an SMS through Mailpro, every mobile number in your contact list must be in international (E.164) format: a plus sign, the country code, then the local number with no leading zero. The list below covers the most common destinations — check it whenever you import contacts from a national database.
Format reminder: Always store numbers as +[country code][local number] without spaces, dashes or parentheses. Example: French mobile 06 12 34 56 78 becomes +33612345678.
Why E.164 matters
Carriers route messages worldwide based on the country code prefix. A wrong prefix means the SMS either fails to deliver or arrives at the wrong destination at international rates.
SMS credits: The “Credits per SMS” column shows how many credits are charged to send one SMS to each destination.
