Yes. Most email marketing software can send an online survey, in one of three ways: a link to the survey in the email, the first question placed inside the email, or a survey tool built into the email platform. With Mailpro™, surveys and email campaigns are in the same account, so you create the survey, send it to a contact list and follow the answers without connecting a second tool.

Three ways to send a survey by email

Question inside the emailThe first question is shown as buttons; the click is the answerOne quick question, the most answers
Survey tool built inThe survey and the contact list live in the same platformReminders, segments and results tied to each contact

How it works in Mailpro

  1. Create the survey from a template in the online survey maker (step by step: how to create an online survey in Mailpro).
  2. Connect it to your contacts: link the email question to your contact list and add a tag for the survey; see add survey respondents to a contact list.
  3. Add it to an email campaign as a button to the survey, with the recipient's email address already filled in, or as a one-click poll inside the newsletter, whose votes appear in the campaign report.
  4. Remind only those who have not answered a few days later, with a segment of the list without the survey tag: send a survey reminder to non-respondents.

What to check if your survey tool is separate

If your survey tool and your email software are two different products, check three things. Can the email editor insert a button or an HTML block for the survey link? Can the survey tool receive the contact's email address, so you know who answered? Can the answers come back to your contact list? Without that last point, you cannot remind only non-respondents, and every reminder goes to the whole list.

For other channels (website, QR code, SMS, social media), see how to share an online survey.
