Badmails/bounces appear in the email opening statistics

Yes, oddly enough. In most of the cases the error notification you receive for “returned to sender” emails contains the original message in the message body and not as attachment. This is acknowledged as an “email opening” while being classified as “badmail”. But these cases are rare.
