Mailpro lets you lock any form, survey or quiz behind a password so only the people you choose can answer. This is useful for internal HR feedback, paid courses, member-only content or sensitive data collection where the URL alone should not be enough to access the form.

Quick win: You can use a single shared password for all invitees, or generate one-time codes for high-security cases.

How to enable password protection

  1. Open your form, survey or quiz in the Mailpro editor.
  2. Go to the Security or Access tab of the editor.
  3. Toggle Password protection on.
  4. Type the password (or paste a list of unique codes).
  5. Save and republish the form.

Sharing the password safely

Send the password in a separate channel from the form link — for example the link in an email and the password by SMS. That way, a forwarded email alone is not enough to open the form.

Important: Mailpro does not store the password in plain text in the form’s public source code, but you should still avoid using sensitive personal data as a password.

Use cases

Common scenarios include private password-protected forms for VIP customers, an internal password-protected survey for staff feedback, or a password-protected quiz used for training assessments.

Lock your next form in 2 minutes

Open the form, switch on the password option and share the access code only with your audience. Read more in our blog post on the password-protected survey.
