The view online and unsubscribe links are mandatory in every newsletter — required by GDPR, CAN-SPAM and CASL. Mailpro inserts them automatically and lets you customise them freely.
Important: never remove the unsubscribe link. Missing it can lead to fines, spam complaints and a damaged sender reputation.
Customise the link text
- In the editor, scroll to the footer
- Click the block containing the automatic links
- Edit the text (e.g. "Unsubscribe", "Stop receiving these emails")
- The original link stays active — only the label changes
Customise the style
- Change colour, size and font
- Add your company logo
- Insert a short note ("You're receiving this because…")
What happens on click
- Mailpro adds the contact to your unsubscribe list immediately
- They will no longer receive emails from you
- The event is tracked in the campaign report
